An engineering feasibility study proposing anaerobic digestion as a replacement for the aerobic system at Salar Wastewater Treatment Plant in Tashkent. The system could generate 2.78 GWh/day of methane-derived energy — a net gain of 2.72 GWh/day — while reducing sludge volume and operational costs. Presented at the Belt and Road Initiative Conference on Sustainable Energy Materials and Smart Technologies, Nazarbayev University.
